Company Summary:
Fourth Dimension Traffic was founded in 2003 in San Francisco, CA.
Fourth Dimension's primary product is the "D4" Traffic Signal
Software package for Type 2070 ATCs. The "D4" debuted right
here in San Francisco at the corner of 3rd and King Streets (intersection where
AT&T Ball Park is located, Home of the San Francisco Giants).

As of January, 2007, approximately 350 "D4s" have
been deployed in the City of San
Francisco, a city with more then 1200 signalized
intersections. The City is involved in a 10+ year project to convert all
traffic signal controllers over to 2070 ATCs running the "D4".
As part of this project, a state of the art transportation management center
has been constructed at the City of San
Francisco Traffic Engineering offices. The
initial phase of this project has integrated P.B. Faradyne's MIST management
software with approximately 140 "D4" operated intersections, surveillance
cameras, and changeable message sign.

The "D4" specializes in easily configurable advanced
actuated signal control and transit signal control (including one of a kind
cable car priority / preemption). The "D4" has a unique
combination of features for optimizing fixed time or actuated control under
both coordinated and free operations.
Fourth Dimension Traffic also offers traffic signal integration and training
as well as other traffic engineering services.
